Interpretation
The words of which the initial letter is capitalized have meanings defined under the following conditions. The following definitions shall have the same meaning regardless of whether they appear in singular or in plural.
Definitions
- Account: A unique account created for You to access our Service.

- Application: The software program Saintly provided by the Company.

- Device: Any device that can access the Service such as a computer, a mobile phone or a digital tablet.
- Personal Data: Any information that relates to an identified or identifiable individual.
- Service: The Application and all related services provided by the Company.

- Usage Data: Data collected automatically, either generated by the use of the Service or from the Service infrastructure itself.
- You: The individual accessing or using the Service, or the company or legal entity on behalf of which such individual is accessing or using the Service.

For mobile applications, this may include information such as the type of mobile Device You use, Your mobile Device unique ID, the mobile operating system You use, the type of mobile Internet browser You use, unique Device identifiers and other diagnostic data.
Learning Data
Saintly stores the lessons you have completed, your streak, and the questions you ask the in-app assistant so that we can personalize your learning path and continuity across devices.

The Company may use Personal Data for the following purposes:
- To provide and maintain our Service, including to monitor the usage of our Service.
- To manage Your Account: to manage Your registration as a user of the Service.
- For the performance of a contract: the development, compliance and undertaking of the purchase contract for the products, items or services You have purchased.
- To contact You: by email regarding updates or informative communications related to the functionalities, products or contracted services.
- To provide You with news, special offers and general information about other goods, services and events which we offer that are similar to those that you have already purchased or enquired about.
- To manage Your requests: to attend and manage Your requests to us.
- For business transfers: we may use Your information to evaluate or conduct a merger, divestiture, restructuring, reorganization, dissolution or other sale or transfer of some or all of our assets.
- For other purposes: such as data analysis, identifying usage trends, determining the effectiveness of our promotional campaigns and evaluating and improving our Service, products, services and your experience.
Sharing of Your Personal Data
Your Personal Data may be shared in the following situations:
- With Service Providers: to monitor and analyze the use of our Service. This includes Supabase (backend), RevenueCat (subscriptions), Sentry (diagnostics) and Apple (App Store).
- For business transfers: if the Company is involved in a merger, acquisition or asset sale, Your Personal Data may be transferred.
- With Your consent: we may disclose Your personal information for any other purpose with Your consent.
Legal Basis for Processing Personal Data Under GDPR
If You are from the European Union (EU), the legal basis for which we collect and use the personal information described in this Privacy Policy depends on the Personal Data we collect and the specific context in which we collect the information:

Retention of Your Personal Data
The Company will retain Your Personal Data only for as long as necessary for the purposes set out in this Privacy Policy. We will retain and use Your Personal Data to the extent necessary to comply with our legal obligations.

Your information, including Personal Data, is processed at the Company’s operating offices and in any other places where the parties involved in the processing are located. You may delete Your Account and associated Personal Data at any time from within the app (Settings → Account → Delete account), or by emailing us. In some cases, we may retain your information when required by law or for legitimate business purposes.
Security of Your Personal Data
The security of Your Personal Data is important to us, but remember that no method of transmission over the Internet or method of electronic storage is 100% secure. While we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect Your Personal Data, we cannot guarantee its absolute security.
Children’s Privacy
Our Service does not address anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13. If You are a parent or guardian and You are aware that Your child has provided us with Personal Data, please contact us.
